Power over Ethernet (PoE) Architecture

Power over Ethernet capacities, power budgets, and PSU redundancy behavior.

The ES2010-24CP and ES2010-48CP support IEEE 802.3bt PoE (Type 4 Class 8 enabled), delivering up to 90W per port depending on total available power budget. For PoE models, 1+1 redundancy is supported only when total power consumption remains within the capacity of a single installed power module.

Tip: For optimal PoE deployment, always use CAT6A or higher pure copper twisted-pair network cables.

Non-PoE model DS2010 supports full 1+1 PSU redundancy under all operating conditions.
