Power Supply Units (PSUs)
The SC6110 storage controller is powered by two (2) redundant 1+1 power supply units (PSUs), allowing full operations to continue in the event should one fail. For proper airflow, a failed PSU should be left in the system until a replacement part is available.

PSU Advisories
CAUTION: In the event of a PSU failure, do not remove it until ready to install an identical replacement.
CAUTION: When a controller is unseated from the system, the system will continue to operate via the PSU supplied in the remaining controller and its power cord. Use caution not to disturb the remaining controller and power cord.
CAUTION: During normal operation the PSUs do support 1+1 redundancy. If the total system power demand exceeds the power capacity of a single PSU, the PSUs would not support 1+1 redundancy

CAUTION: Only use PSUs with identical part numbers. Failure to do so will cause a system error.
Note: After installing a PSU, allow several seconds for the controller to recognize it and verify the PSU is working properly.
