Drive Carrier Overview
The drive carrier was designed for optimized airflow in a compact form factor and supports both E.E3.S (Short) and E.E3.L (Long) drives. However, no long drives have been qualified at this time.
Note: Do not use E.E3.L drives. Although the drive carriers can accommodate long drives (E.E3.L), none have been qualified. Be sure to use qualified short drives (E.E3.S).
CAUTION: All drive bays not populated with drives must have empty drive carriers to ensure proper airflow. Dummy SSDs need to be installed in the empty drive carriers to ensure a proper fit to chassis.
