The DS1000 Ethernet switchis offered in multiple configurations and capacities. The primary distinctions are the number of ports and if those ports offer Power over Ethernet (PoE). The Ethernet switch provides 24×10GbE RJ45 copper ports with 2×100GbE QSFP28 fiber ports, or 48×10GbE RJ45 copper ports with 6×100GbE QSFP28 fiber ports in a 1U form factor. All RJ45 copper ports are available as PoE (AF/AT/BT, Type 4 Class 8) or non-PoE, depending on the SKU. MACsec is optional on all ports. Redundant power supplies, fans, and high-availability features help ensure continuous availability for business-sensitive traffic on DS1000Ethernet switch systems.
