Insert one end of the DAC cable into the QSFP28 port of DS3001 and the other end to the appropriate port of the peer device, that is, NIC card or Switch.
Check the indicator LED of the port. If the LED is ON, the link is established successfully. If the LED is OFF, the link is not established and the cable should be examined.
