Controller Removal from Chassis
- Find the latches on the left and right sides of the controller, then press and rotate outwards the top of each controller latch to disengage it from the hook.
- Use the latch handle to carefully slide the controller from the chassis.CAUTION: Each controller is equipped with a battery backup unit (BBU). When a controller is unseated, a data save cycle is initiated. This cycle can last from three to five minutes. For safety, partially unseat the controller and wait until the data save cycle has concluded, indicated by the cessation of all LED activity, before fully removing the controller from chassis.CAUTION: When a controller is unseated from the system, the system will continue to operate via the PSU supplied in the remaining controller and its power cord. Use caution not to disturb the remaining controller and power cord.
